WHAT DOES NVQ STAND FOR?

NVQ stands for National Vocational Qualification

WHAT IS AN NVQ?

An NVQ is a work-related, competency-based, nationally recognised qualification. They are usually completed in the workplace and are designed for the candidate to gain the specific skills and knowledge needed to do the job.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO COMPLETE AN NVQ?

There is no set time frame for completing an NVQ. As long as the candidate can meet the assessment criteria and can provide evidence of their knowledge and experience. Our assessors will work with the candidate to achieve the qualification in a realistic timeframe.

IF THE CANDIDATE CHANGES SITE OR LOCATION, CAN THEY STILL COMPLETE THEIR NVQ?

Yes. All you have to do is to contact one of our team as soon as possible and we will update your assessor.

CAN THE CANDIDATE FAIL AN NVQ?

No, a candidate can't fail an NVQ. The candidate will either be able to successfully carry out the tasks required or be not yet able to do so. They will receive their NVQ qualification when they can prove that they have the required skills and ability to perform their job responsibilities as required.
